Product

SZN is a functional energy pouch designed for repeat daily use, engineered to disrupt the functional food & energy market.

Core formula consists of:

  • Caffeine (100mg per pouch)
  • Vitamin B-complex (B1, B5, B6, B12 - 100%+ RDI per serving)
  • Triple-sweetener base & premium flavoring

Core product standards:

  • No nicotine, no sugar
  • Superior engineering & delivery system
  • Premium flavor, feeling & packaging

The product is a formulation based on almost a decade of R&D and market trial and errors where ingredients and their amounts are based on two key factors:

*What is actually feasible in the discreet but limited pouch format

*What we believe works/trends in the functional food and energy market

Caffeine is set at 100mg per pouch - delivering a solid dose of energy without being too overwhelming, while at the same time not being underdosed.

Caffeine also has a bitter aftertaste, which we control not only by a unique base of select sweeteners and aromas, but also by not putting an excessive amount of caffeine in each pouch. We see strong market trends with functional energy drinks (such as Liquid Death) positioning themselves and their products with "unextreme amounts of caffeine".

The vitamin B-complex is curated based on vitamins B1, B5, B6 & B12.

Each pouch contains over 100% of RDI for all B-vitamins (!) positioning SZN as a dietary supplement with a far lower VAT-rate than nicotine-free pouch products.

The choice to opt for a vitamin b-complex is not only due to the energy drink familiarity (energy conversion), but also due to its water solubility and the feasibility of reaching high RDI-doses in a limited format.

There are brands that have opted to use more vitamins, minerals and "nootropics", and while this might look good on paper, it comes with definite drawbacks;

*The more functional ingredients added to a pouch, the heavier the end product - creating a pouch so large it'll be offputting for a majority of consumers used to the slim or mini format (not to mention the "pouch-virgin").

*Any pouch with less than aprox 50% cellulose weight will be very problematic in terms of manufacturing, creating bottlenecks in the production process.

*Functional ingredients combined with moisture tend to result in a very stiff end-product, instead of that soft premium feel. This combination also tends to color the pouch, turning the end-product brownish, instead of that clean white.

*Functional ingredients that are not water soluble or have a large molecular weight will not penetrate the oral mucosa and thus not work as efficiently as it would otherwise in a powder or tablet form.

We're launching with 3 SKU (original, wild berries/hot peach and citrus/yuzu).

Product roadmap includes a mini format (mainly for female audience) and limited edition collab-drops.
